I really like writing and using my words and here on this blog it is a time for me to journal and get out my thoughts.
But sometimes my thoughts aren’t pretty. Sometimes they are filled with insecurities that I try to explain away or even rage against.
It can be hard to see what my words do to people. I want to be relatable, I want my overthinking to help someone not overthink.
I want to write love letters and make someone feel good, too.
But not every day is a good day. Sometimes days, my head is foggy from allergies and staying up too late and I don’t think about the thoughts that should stay in my head. I used to be better at that. Not saying it or using words that say things to help people and not hurt them.
It is interesting thinking through those times wanting to make it better and not really knowing the best course of action.
What words do you use to make it better when the words you used made it worse?

There aren’t any. Honesty has its rewards, as well as pitfalls.

That is very true. And I love honesty in others. I rather that than too much kindness. I am a fan of direct communication.
