An Open Book

“We are like books. Most people only see our cover, the minority read only the introduction, many people believe the critics. Few will know our content.”  -Emile Zola

I have this desire for someone to read me. Someone to be interested in what is inside the pages of me. Not every page is a love story, although I wish most pages were. There is more drama here than I would like, but that is what comes with life.

I want a story of love and devotion and maybe a bit of deviance as well. Something about connection. The way you feel someone and just know they are yours. The certainty of it. I can look at you and know some things, but I want the passion of someone who can’t put your book down and wants to share how their story intersects and relates to yours.

Read me and add to it. Don’t put me down until the end.
