Sometimes it is not just a crush, and the weight of it is very crushing.
People have been talking about a crush feature on Fet. I had a few people I selected when it first came out, but I am down to just one. He is not much into those silly games, I think.
Maybe he doesn’t play games at all, or maybe the stakes are a little higher for me in any game he wants to play with me.
I have a few people who are crushing on me, but it is obviously no one I know or have crushed on myself, since a match would be revealed.
That is usually the way of it. It is a crush because it is not mutual. You are sitting there falling in love with the idea of them, and you do not even exist in their mind. They hurt, those crushes, if you put too much there. It can be devastating if you close your eyes to anyone else.
Part of that thinking makes me feel that when I do have someone I crush on and they crush on me back, it is amazing and very rare. It usually never happens that the one you want wants you back.
