Words that I believed.
That is how I felt about abuse, too, growing up. If it isn’t violent, then it is not really abuse. I was very wrong about that.
It’s about knowing there are enough feelings, enough passion, to want to love me violently.
It’s about turning off my brain and putting you inside it.
It’s about giving me something to focus on. Physical pain can take away from the emotional pain, at least for a little while.
