What’s a song that changed your life?
This one I can’t do. There are too many and not enough.
My teen years going through hard times and making it out the other side involved NIN, Sarah McLaughlin, and Metallica.
But music for me is an intimate thing.
I once had a huge crush on a boy in a band and sometimes he would sit in my car and make out with me. I wouid turn the radio off immediately because I didn’t want him to know what I listened to or get in my head that way. Some of it was insecurity and not feeling I would measure up. After all he didn’t want to date me, just make out with me.
I love it when others share themselves in that way. I have a few songs but not enough that help me remember certain people and times and I love bringing them back that way.
