Looking at a few things and had a conversation about beleifs.
I grew up in a family of “good” christians. My mom was very, very reliegious. When we brought boys home, her first questions was do they believe in Jesus. This apple has fallen so far from the tree. I hated everything about our southern baptist roots. Believing others were going to hell if they did not believe as we did and I have always been a doubting Thomas not really knowing if there is even a heavaen or hell to begin wiht.
I do know that religion is all made up like the myths. Very man-made in order to explain the world around us and take control of it.
But
The universe seems to have too much control; there are too many coincidences, and too many times the veil has seemed paper-thin. I can choose to believe or not one day to the next, and being born on the cusp between Cancer and Leo, drama and light, water and fire, makes it easier to believe there are multiple sides to me, all protective and loyal at the core, wanting to worship.
But what or who I worship is the real question.
