Take Care of You

Sitting in the dentist office and I have the bib but they left me alone with my thoughts and a very good soundtrack going in the office.

An interesting combination.

Of course, the song now is Chasing Cars. It has been in my mind a lot lately.

I want to forget the world around me. All but them. I am worried I am getting too old but I also think you are never too old for connecting to the right people.

I have a memory of my grandfather and his third wife (she was the best one but don’t tell my grandmother) getting into a car accident. I don’t know how old they were but as a teen anything above 60 is ancient.

I was with them as they got home from the hospital and we were leaving so they could rest. They had a cute little conversation about what they could do in bed. At that point after the accident it was just holding hands.

They were the cutest couple and I have always enjoyed the thought of having that type of connection.

There were so many bad ones I had to watch growing up all around me and I love concentrating on the good ones.
