Morning Playlist

Driving into work and took a minute to finally connect my phone to my car, and it came up with all sorts of gems. Of course, the drive makes it easy to think about where I am going today and where I would rather be going.

. . . could stick around and get along with you
Hello, oh, oh, oh, oh
It doesn’t really mean that I’m into you
Hello, oh, oh, oh, oh

… You’re alright, but I’m here, darling, to enjoy the party
Don’t get too excited cause that’s all you get from me, hey
Yeah, I think you’re cute, but really you should know
I just came to say hello
Hello
Hello
Hello, oh, oh, oh, oh

These are brat lyrics, honestly. Do you think this reverse psychology would work? I think he can already see past this. He knows . . .

I just want his stupid love. I am stupid for him, and he knows it.

I hope that I will still know him in five years, no matter what label we put on each other. I want that energy to still be there.

Because right now . . .

I will still want, and I will still crave.
