Do you ever meet someone and think this person was meant for you to meet? You may not know what type of connection was meant to happen, you just know this person is supposed to be in your life somehow.

I often think about what would have happened had I been able to put myself in front of them at some other time. Would we be more than friends? Would we not talk at all like passing strangers?

There is always the possibility that you meet people and get close, but they are just not meant for you. I had a connection like that for four years and more than anything, I think they were meant to be someone, but maybe just that someone I learn from. Someone who prepares me for something else. I am still sad that the connection disappeared, but glad for the experience and the lessons.
