Listening to music from the kid’s playlist on the way home from a bit of an emotional outing. It was school shopping time and one of my offspring is headed to college this week.
Poly is very interesting because I have more than one partner, but it seems I am always alone, always handling the big stuff by myself. This isn’t necessarily true just my perception, especially after coming home to an empty bed on a day like today.
Listening to the lyrics of Banner’s Someone to You has me in that longing stage. Longing for the feel of someone who wants to be a part of me and my life. Someone who can’t get enough of me. Someone who will take me out of reality for brief moments. and imagine a reality with them.
