Where do you want to be?

This is such a popular question when giving interviews or going on retreats for work. Do you practice thinking about this?

What are the things you always say, and what are the things you don’t?

I haven’t really worked on my endgame. I know I have places I want to see. Places that don’t match up necessarily to anyone else wanting to venture out with me.

Do I see a future with anyone in particular? It is still fuzzy. What I want isn’t necessarily what they want, so I have to build something on my own. I don’t want to.

I have always been the one who has a scattered sense of the future. Looking to others to shape it for me. Wanting a partner in crime.

I know it has to include happiness. It has to include adventure, puzzles to solve, and mysteries to unravel. Music and laughter, too.

Everything else is a bonus. But I want to touch that bonus.
