I was reading a post today by Enhanced Mind. (Not on his blog yet) about how we stay put.
It is that point not of retreat or pulling back, but just waiting in place.
I needed to hear this today. Not just for me, but what if I need to have more empathy for my partners in doing this? We get caught up in our wants and desires. We get caught up in them playing a role instead of being human. Our selfishness sometimes wins out, and that is not to say we don’t deserve to have our needs met, too. But how do we come together andmake sure that each is getting what they need and want?
I want to be seen as a whole human, so I need to try to see them that way, too.
Does that mean I will sit around, wait, and stay put forever? No. At some point, I am just going to start living and not worry about it.
