These words keep coming back to me today. I think it is what I miss the most. Having that partner near and being part of thier lives in a way that gives you that feeling of warmth and closeness.
I was asked what romance means to me today, and I really had to think about it. It is a lot about that warmth and closeness. Being with someone that you feel comfortable with and are not afraid to enjoy the quiet stillness with. It’s not that it is not about the exciting, fiery moments. There is passion brewing under the surface, but it is also about being close to someone, body and soul. Having them know you and what you need, and being able to anticipate their needs. But also needed nothing as long as they are around.
