Shine on Me

Warm Summer Sun by Mark Twain

Warm summer sun,

    Shine kindly here,

Warm southern wind,

    Blow softly here.

Green sod above,

    Lie light, lie light.

Good night, dear heart,

    Good night, good night.

This was something Twain wrote for his daughter at her death, but I can’t help seeing it in a positive way.

Thinking about the sun smiling on me, but there are people in my life that create that sunshine, too.

So much change going on but the people that mean something and see me continue to shine bright for me and I appreciate that so much.
