It’s That Energy

Sometimes you get people that come into your life and you can tell they will be someone with a capital S.

I used to get a lot more messages through Instagram from scammers and tons of unsolicited messages in my inbox on that other site. On Instagram, you can tell right away who these people are. There is a script and I used to play around with them a bit and try to get them to give me proof they are real. They never would.

On the other site, it is mostly random people not scammers, at least for me. They come into your inbox with a fantasy of you in their head already. Some are looking for a quick chat to get off, some do see that place as a dating site, and want to get to know you.

For me, I can tell pretty quickly whether this person is someone I want to give my time and energy to.

Very rarely, though, someone slides in and that energy is undeniable. You see right away that this is someone who is going to make an impact on you. It can be scary. You can sometimes overthink about the future and how the connection will develop or end.

It can be interesting just to be in the moment and watch it unfold. And you don’t really know how that will happen. You may just be meeting a soul mate who is your friend, or you may be meeting someone who is the love of your life.

But that energy is undeniable. You feel it, and you know this person was meant to be in your life in some way.
