My safe space can sometimes only come from within. I create a sanctuary inside myself and tend to isolate. I haven’t always felt safe on the outside, and those I have been with have not always created that safe space for me to share.
I am hopeful, though, that the right person is here and won’t be afraid to look inside me and see all the versions of me and not just create space for them but be fascinated by them and want to uncover the mystery that is me.
Maybe they can help me find parts of myself I have not seen.
