There are days when I know this to be true and days when the fear engulfs me and I wait for everything to unravel. I will be thankful for the journey either way.
I can sometimes be pessimistic in relationships, but I can also just let it take me wherever it goes. Part of being poly is understanding that you may not have a relationship that lasts forever. You enjoy the time you are meant to be together no matter how long that is.
You may feel strongly about a person one day and at some point get to a place that they have disappeared. Enjoy your time with them. Be there in the moment without worrying about the end. When it does end, take whatever lessons you can from it.
