I had no idea I would like that, but you did, didn’t you?
I remember sitting at the table talking to you. It was a bit like our first date, but we knew each other from countless conversations. Still, I hadn’t even thought of contracts or collars or whatever else you were determined to talk about. I had been down that road before and it didn’t work out and I somehow thought the problem was me. It just didn’t fit me. I was just wanting to play.
But you knew, didn’t you? There was something different about this, about Us coming together.
You agreed to play. You went through the process of negotiating the scene, but you knew there was more. You knew I would come back. You saw the possibility and knew there would be a craving and an ache for just the right type of connection.
It would evolve. It would come to be what we made it.
I didn’t think I would like it, But now I have to have it.
