I apologize for this sappy post. I had a long drive to work today and this song came up. It always makes me think about love and destiny and the universe.
Are we predestined for a certain life or certain people in our lives? When I was younger and living in a pre-internet world in a small town, I still had a feeling that I was not meant to stay in that place. I felt that there were other things for me that went beyond the confines of those walls around me. But how far am I meant to go? Where should the road take me? What lessons are left to learn until I settle into the life I was meant for and the people I was meant for?
Maybe I should just take it one day at a time and continue to follow that yellow brick road that leads me where it leads me.
